Review and A #GIVEAWAY: Universal Bluetooth Foldable Keyboard

I'm a busy mom of 3 (soon to be 4). As much as I wish I could spend more time sitting in front of the desktop, I can't. This mom needs to move.

But, wherever I am, I usually need access to the internet.  But the problem with my tablet is that when I have to type something, half the screen gets taken over by the floating keyboard.

Are you familiar with this problem? It's very annoying. And sometimes, the floating keyboard covers up certain buttons I need like the "Submit" or "Yes" and "No" buttons. Very annoying.

And although I have a laptop, It's an old hunking thing that needs to be plugged in, and weighs 6.6 lbs.! No way am I lugging that everywhere. Those days I've left behind in college, long, long ago (you know, when I used to go around with a backpack?).

So I was so happy when iWerkz agreed to send me a Universal Bluetooth Foldable Keyboard to review AND give away! Check it out!

ONE FOR ME, ONE FOR YOU!

I love this thing. It just made my life easier.

First off, folded up and in its own case (which doubles as a tablet and phone stand, by the way) this thing is so light and small (less than 1" thick), it fits in my purse. It's smaller than my wallet, slightly smaller than a checkbook, and slightly bigger than a Galaxy S3 phone for goodness sake! I take it everywhere.

Opened up, the keyboard is just as wide as my 10.1 inch tablet. And the keys are soft to type on. As a blogger, you never know when inspiration strikes. Being able to type on a physical keyboard makes blogging a faster and smoother experience!

I also love how it's so portable even when I'm at home. See me use it in the living room where I can keep an eye on the toddler...yes, he's on the coffee table. ;)

AND even HOMESCHOOLING is a little easier because I can use my tablet plus the keyboard without taking up precious work space on the table. And I can EASILY type up papers I need for homeschooling too! I couldn't do that before because the floating keyboard took up too much screen space. Now, I can actually use the Word capabilities of my tablet. Win, win!

Some other places I've taken this to are my mom's house, my in-laws, while waiting for my daughters at Tae Kwon Do, while my daughter is at piano, in the bedroom, at the cafe, and anywhere I've got time to blog!

And a few more noteworthy details:

  • It has 4/5 star average review (from 217 reviewers) on Amazon

  • 30 day standby time

  • 44 hour run time

  • weighs less than 1/2 a pound

  • pairs quickly and easily (less than 30 seconds - actually 10 seconds for me!)

  • NO Batteries required! Charge with USB cable

If I haven't convinced you how cool and easy this thing is to use, well....just watch the video!
