Angel Baby

She was pregnant. How absolutely wonderful, this news.

Placenta Previa. How unwonderful.

All the blood lost. All the money they didn't have, spent on hospital visits and medications. All the anxiety. All the prayers.

All the love.

Five months and 3 weeks. Mother and son fought to survive.

But God must've had a bigger plan. And her son wanted what's best. For her to carry on.

He was born, almost 6 months, alive for a few minutes, then passed on from this world. He was baptized, named Prince, buried, and went straight to heaven.

Her heart was broken. Still is breaking. Happiness is still a little too far to see.

But in her sorrow, I hope she finds the strength to live a lovely life still. Because this point on, she will always have an Angel Baby...

prince collageMy cousin lost her baby boy last Sept. 3rd. He was born, almost 6 months, alive for a few minutes, then passed on from this world. He was baptized, named Prince, and buried also the same day he was born. Please pray for him, my cousin, my aunt, and cousin-in-law. It was a difficult pregnancy, but God had other plans. May Our Lady hold them in her arms.

(R.I.P. Prince Sara, my dearest nephew...)

  1. My prayers are with you and your family. Losing a loved one is always hard, especially the most innocent ones. I lost a brother several months after he was born, but was too young to remember it, and my mom still doesn't talk about it much. 45 years later. Please pray for the repose of the soul of our Tia Amalia, who passed on the feast of St. Monica. She was 84. Looked like Mother Teresa. A lot.
