It was a very beautiful Christmas. Tight financially (and on the waistline), but we survived - with lots of hugs and kisses. And maybe a little too much food.
Since then, I've been working on one of my New Year's resolutions...to get organized in the blogging department. I actually went searching online for a Blog Planner / Calendar, but everything I saw had too much or too little of what I needed.
So I took a deep breath and made my own. In fact, it was such a big step that I actually taught myself to use Excel! And, lo and behold, I love Excel. So easy. Time consuming, yes, but pretty easy.
I'm so very proud to finish it on time - and even convert it to a PDF file, all by myself (after searching online for how-to-do-this-and-that-and-all-the-things). :-)
To celebrate this accomplishment and the New Year, I'm GIVING AWAY my Simple 2014 Blog Planner to everyone FOR FREE!!!
FREE 2014 BLOG PLANNER. All yours. You see, I know that as a fellow blogger, getting your blog organized is one of your resolutions this year too! So Happy New Year and check out what you get:
That's a grand total of 90 organized pages! (Sounds like a lot, but printing it back to back should cut your paper count to about half.)
And remember, you can save the file and just print monthly as you need them. Or, you could print them without the weekly pages. Or without the special days pages. Whatever. Your call. Links for individual pages at the end of the post.
Here's what they look like...

As you can see, it's a very simple planner. I hope it will help keep me blogging more consistently in the new year. I printed this at home, had it bound at Staples for a whopping $4.52 (front and back clear plastic cover included too), and then I added flags/tabs for each month. I even added 12 more monthlies for my Poetry Blog at the end!

Thanks for this! I have to agree that I have found far to many free blog planners giving me way too much information or very little as well. I think I can actually use this!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! I hope it helps you this year. And just in case you read this before I updated, I included separate links for the individual pages just a while ago - at the bottom of the post! So if printing the whole thing is a bit much right now, you can print just what you need. ;) Thanks for visiting!
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea!!
ReplyDeleteI will definitely share the idea.
I may have to use the Staples option since our printer has not wanted to print this month at all. Looks like we might be in the market for a new one. Which is actually not a bad thing since I got a Canon camera for Christmas, and a Canon printer would make a great companion. Funny how life works out sometimes, right? LOL
Thanks! I really needed to get organized this year. A must for a mother of 3, yes?
ReplyDeleteI've printed mine at home, but I plan to bind it at Staples. Besides I can start using it even if it's not binded yet - cuz I don't really know when I'll get the chance to get out of the house. ;-)
[…] I love blogging, but I can’t let it take too much of my precious time. So I made myself a blog planner so I can focus on other important things – instead of having “what the bleep am I […]
