It's been ages since I've been at the lake. But I was determined this time to go before the scorching summer heat kicked in.
So off we went. It was the first time for my 2nd and 3rd kids.
And even though my dad was the only one that caught a grand total of ONE fish, it was fun.
And we all loved it.

Link up with Claudia and Hilary and ME too!

Yeah! Looks like such fun!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for us to be able to go to the lake and the beach. While we may not have snow any more, it does take until about the end of June or even July for the water to warm up enough to go swimming.
and even that is still only in the 70s!!
Nice to hear you're getting out and about. Fishing, as recreation, is not really for the purpose of catching fish. Fishing is an excuse to give families time to talk and just be together.
ReplyDeleteTrue. And fishing teaches patience. ;)
ReplyDeleteWow. 70s in July? Is it always cold in Canada?
ReplyDeletethat's just the water -- it can be really hot outside, but the lakes take awhile to warm up.
ReplyDeletedepends on how deep the water is often.
But we don't mind - not if it is hot enough outside. :)
