Super Easy, Last Minute Valentine's Day Lollipop Tags

If you're like me, and you don't have all the time in the world to wow your children's classmates with handmade, pinterest-inspired Valentine's Day goodies...

Then you're gonna love this super easy, last minute lollipop tags!

It's so easy, that my Kindergartener did it with minimal help!

What You Need
  • 12x12 scrapbook paper sheets with flower (or other V-day appropriate) design - makes 16 tags
  • scissors
  • scotch tape
  • pencil, pen, or marker
  • bag of lollipops
8 Super Easy Steps (all done on the black side of the paper)

1.  Fold paper in half, then half again - horizontally, then vertically - to make 16 squares

2.  Outline the folds so that the kids can clearly see the borders of each square

3.  Draw a small heart in the middle of each square

4.  Write Valentine's message, carefully avoiding the heart

SO easy, the 10 year old did it while holding the baby - although the baby didn't seem to enjoy it very much.  Ha!  But the Kindergartener was totally in to it!  Just look at the concentration on writing 23 of those "love notes!"

5.  Cut out each square.  Fine motor skills practice, anyone?  ;-)

6.  Using a pencil or pen, poke a hole through the heart in the middle

7.  Stick a lollipop through the hole, making sure the written part is facing up

Dad and little brother happily helped with these two steps!

8.  Use a little bit of scotch tape at the bottom to secure "tag" on the lollipop stem

DONE!

Gather up those "suckers" and give a little love away!
